Hallo,
Ik heb een vraagje over het plaatsen van een 2de Nodo.

Mijn huidige setup bestaat uit een Nodo mega die in de trapkast hangt in het midden van mijn woning. Deze is gekoppeld via de NES met mijn netwerk en de lokaal draaiende Webapp.
Deze mega verzorgt ook de aansturing en het luisteren naar de gekoppelde KaKu apparaten.

ik wil nu een 2de arduino gebruiken om mijn P1 meter mee uit te lezen.
Ik kan nu de Arduino in de meterkast plaatsen. En dan via I2C naar de Mega.
De afstand is achter 7 meter, nu lees ik op de I2C Wiki dat het max. 1 meter mag zijn of dat je anders "extenders" moet gaan gebruiken.

Ik kan de 2de Arduino ook op 1 meter van de mega plaatsen en dan de P1 kabel 6 meterlang maken. Weet iemand of dit zonder extenders werkt

Tevens moet ik bij een het gebruik van I2C aan beide zijde een een weerstand plaatsen, of is het gebruik van een NES (met ingebouwde weerstand) aan de Mega kant al voldoende?

Tijdens de ontwikkeling van de P1 plugin had ik een Mega in lab-opstelling op mijn werktafel op de 2e verdieping. Tijdens het testen had ik een gewoon ouderwets telefoon verlengsnoer tussen de P1 poort (in de meterkast, begane grond) en mijn Mega, zeker een meter of 15 lang. Werkte uitstekend! :)
Dus:ik zou, als ik jou was, gewoon een verlengsnoer met RJ11 stekkertjes nemen. Hoe de I2C interface lekker kort.

Ben inmiddels ook heel erg geïnteresseerd geraakt door de NRF oplossingen :-)
(Heb er meteen 3 besteld in China)

Maar voordat die er zijn, ga ik eerste even wired testen....
