Ik zie erg veel optie's op ebay.

If uploading sketches using the Arduino IDE and selecting the corresponding Pro Mini board fails, follow these steps to update the bootloader: 1. Prepare an Arduino Uno, Mega or similar to act as ISP as described at http://arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/ArduinoISP 2. Wire it up as shown in the wiring diagram posted above 3. Use Arduino IDE to flash the bootloader of the corresponding Pro/Pro Mini (5V, 16MHz) to SKU099688 or SKU066315 I use six pinheader pins on breadboard and a clamp to ensure good contact between the pins and the holes. This way I do not have to solder pin headers.
Daar vond ik deze programmer ...

Persoonlijk heb ik goede ervaringen met deze leverancier. Alles komt netjes aan. Je moet wel wat geduld hebben. Het langst dat ik heb moeten wachten is 21 werkdagen, het kortst 16 dagen.

Accu of batterij is niet echt een optie bij mij 1 week met een Dallas sensor die om de 10 minuten zendt op een lithium accu 5+12 volt van 4800 mAh. voeding voor de pro mini is 5 volt en heb de Chinese zender via een mosfet aan de 12v hangen. Heeft dan wat meer bereik.
Voor batterij of accu gebruik kun je beter de atmega328 chip nemen.

Ik heb de FT232RL en de PL2303HX. Die laatste had ik als eerste gekocht, maar werkt bij mij niet (WIN8), beschikbare werkende drivers voor dit type heb ik niet gevonden. Werkte ook niet naar mijn zin onder Linux, omdat het een reset mechanisme ontbeert.
De FT232RL daarentegen werkt als een zonnetje! Hier een goedkope versie, die binnen twee weken op de deurmat lag:

Maar hoe haal ik de nodo uit sleep als ik iets in de eventlist wil zetten via rf? Want daar reageert ie dan niet meer op.

Dit vond ik in de wiki op http://www.nodo-domotica.nl/index.php/Sleep

Je zet de Arduino in Sleep mode met het commando Sleep, de Nodo zal weer wakker worden zodra er een timer afloopt. Geen enkel ander event zal worden herkend. Verder moet je er rekening mee houden dat de timers niet exact op tijd zullen lopen, er zal een kleine afwijking zijn.

Als je niet elke week batterijen wil vervangen, dan moet je de Arduino Mini Pro wel aanpassen door de power Led er af te slopen. Met een fijn plat schroevendraaiertje wip de je LED er gemakkelijk af. Meetresultaten met een Arduino Mini Pro op 5 volt:

Zonder modificatie:
=================
Actieve modus: 11 mA
Sleep modus: 2,5 mA

Met modificatie:
=================
Actieve modus: 9 mA
Sleep modus: 18 uA

Afbeelding
Dus van 2500 uA terug naar 18 uA. Dat scheelt nogal. (Een losse Atmel chip gebruikt ong 7 uA op 8MHz).

Gebruik ook niet de spanningsregelaar, want dan schiet het verbruik weer op naar 100 uA !
