Even een vraagje, ik ben bezig om een shield te maken voor mijn UNO om deze als een Small ingezeten. Ik heb een Tiny RTC I2C module die ik uiteraard als klok ga gebruiken.
Op deze module is het mogelijk om een DS18B20 temperatuur sensor te plaatsen wat ik ook graag wil benutten, moet er nog een 4k7 weerstand tussen de "DS" aansluiting en de UNO? of kan ik deze direct aansluiten middels de module?

Net even gecontroleerd op de RTC module die ik heb gebruikt.

Als je de temp sensor er nog niet op hebt zitten en je meet tussen DS en de 5V aansluiting moet je een weerstand meten, meet je die niet dan zit de pull-up weerstand er niet op.

Je kunt het ook meten als je de module is aangesloten (zonder temp sensor) dan moet er tussen DS en GND ongeveer 5 volt staan.

Ik ben benieuwd hoe je de sensor gaat uitlezen. De huidige device maakt volgens mij gebruik van het one-wire protocol en deze RTC gebruikt de I2C bus. Maar misschien heb ik het mis hoor.

Ik heb alle antwoorden maar helaas in de vorm van 3 jpg files. Doe me even een berichtje met een e-mail adres erin en ik stuur je de zaak toe.

Maar hier een summary:

- Hoe uit te lezen, het is geen I2C zoals de RTC. Klopt helemaal. Met I2C kan je de RTC benaderen en ook nog een EEProm op hetzelfde boardje. Arduino libraries voor de EEProm heb ik ook. De Dallas gaat inderdaad met één wire (naast voeding). Oplossing is simpel :D een extra draadje van pin6 van de grote connector of pin 5 van de kleine naar een digitale pin op de Arduino, dus de Dallas loopt niet via het I2C busje.

- De weerstand voor de Dallas is R1, die zit precies tegenover de SCL aansluiting op de 7 pins connector. Volgens het schema is het ding 3k3 ohm. Als je het bordje onder power hebt moet je op de middelste pin van de Dallas (aansluiting) Vcc (ergens tussen de 3 en 5 volt) meten.
