Ik zit eigenlijk met dezelfde keuze.

Kan ik hierop in de nabije toekomst het no-do shield op aansluiten? Liefst het kant en klare pakket. En kan ik deze in de toekomst dan nog weer uitbreiden met BT?

De goedkoopste 2560.

Ik gebruik tijdens ontwikkeling zelfs nog een oude 1280, doet het ook prima.

Kijk eens op samenkopen bij Niels, daar kost de 2560 maar € 28,00 (komen wel verzendkosten bij).
Ik gebruik deze ook en deze werkt prima !

Verschil tussen 2560 en 2560 R3, is niet zo groot, er zitten wat extra aansluitingen op voor SDA en SCL, deze zitten ook op de "oude" versie als digitale poorten, op de nieuwe versie zijn er gewoon 2 extra aansluitingen gemaakt.
De Atmega8U2 is vervangen door een 16U2 versie (wordt gebruikt voor communicatie via USB) en er is een kleine aanpassing gedaan om makkelijker in DFU mode te komen.
Er is een beter RESET circuit ontworpen.

Dus al met al geen grote verschillen.

Niels heeft trouwens ook het W5100 ethernet-netwerk shield.

Beide producten kun je met een gerust hart kopen.
