Inmiddels heb ik de eScam camera binnen, en aangesloten. De meegeleverde software is niet veel. Maar na enig proberen wordt de camera ondersteund door iSpy.
Nadeel van de camera: hij doet niet aan PTZ. Het enige dat je kunt doen met iSpy is digitaal PTZ, dus de camera beweegt niet maar je kunt rondneuzen binnen het bereik.

Nadeel van iSpy: als je via iSpy Connect wilt meekijken op de camera's, dan is dat gratis vanaf je eigen netwerk.
Van buitenaf kost het meteen flink geld.

Heeft iemand nog suggesties voor een alternatieve oplossing?

Hoi Hans,
Zelf gebruik ik ook ipsy op mijn WHS. En inderdaad van buitenaf erg duur. Met mijn WHS maak ik opnames met motion control.

Buiten mijn netwerk gebruik ik op mijn telefoon ip cam viewer (android).

Volgens mij moet het ook met domoticz kunnen, echter dat heb ik nog niet geprobeerd.

Kom toch weer met Blue Iris software... :D
Voor $ 59,= heb je een Full versie, dus zoveel camera's als je maar wil en ook vanaf buiten gewoon bereikbaar met updates voor altijd.

En die updates komen gemiddeld 2 keer per maand, er wordt dus flink door ontwikkeld met support voor nieuwe camera's en functies.

Al met al toch de beste keuze.....

Of iSpy gebruiken over een VPN verbindding.... Dan maak je verbinding via een intern IP adres over de VPN. Ik weet niet of dat gaat werken maar het is ook omslachtig...

Of als je een synology nas hebt. Dan kun je Surveillance station gebruiken. Deze werkt ook prima met deze cam.

In de laatste DSM versie zitten 2 camera licenties. Maar inderdaad uitbreidingen zijn erg prijzig.
