Ik denk dat Hans ook bedoel dat het dan via je internet verbinding gaat, maar aan bandbreedte is dat niet spannend. In de webapp zou er een mogelijk moeten komen om een URL van je webcam in te voeren. Dan pakt die automatisch als je thuis bent het signaal lokaal, en buitenshuis gaat het via je internet verbinding.

Ik heb zelf meerdere webcams van Foscam draaien alleen nog niet via de webapp.

Overigens een hele leuke camera voor buiten gebruik is deze:



Is niet draadloos, maar via een netwerkkabel....

Het beeld is voor dat geld zeer goed te noemen. :mrgreen:

Camerabeelden in de webapp perfect, nog mooier als deze kunnen worden opgeslagen na een event.
Bv de postbode op beeld als de deurbel wordt ingedrukt.

Bandbreedte speelt niet echt een rol, ook in hd niet met de huidige adsl en breedband internet verbindingen... Of bedoel je kijken via een mobiele internet verbinding?
Overigens zorgen pakketten als netcam studio ook voor compressie als dat nodig is.

Van de 4 bestelde camera's bij geen een invoer betaald... Blijft toch altijd een gok, via DHL ben je altijd wel de sjaak. Bij de gewone post is het random, maar ook al zou er 30 euro bijkomen is het nog steeds veel goedkoper dan een waterdichte camera die je kan bestellen in Nederland / Europa...

Overigens draai ik Blue Iris, de producent heeft elke maand wel een berg update's met veel ontwikkelingen en nieuwe mogelijkheden. En dat voor $50 fulltime license... 8-)
