Ik gebruik deze oplossing nu al een tijdje door het hele huis op basis van de Rapsberry Pi, werkt als een speer en ook veel uitbreiding's mogelijkheden.


De DAC modules zijn we overigens zelf ook aan het maken om ze straks in de shop te hebben.

Ik heb ook al eens zitten kijken een paar maanden geleden. Wat ik toen miste was multiroom support.
Zit dat er tegenwoordig al in? (Ze hadden het toen in de todo list staan)

Wat ik bedoel met multiroom overigens is hetzelfde afspelen in meerdere kamers en zonder onderbrekingen of sync problemen units bij of uitschakelen

Zelf iets maken is natuurlijk leuk, maar voor €49,- heb je ook een Gramofon: http://gramofon.com/spotify/

Ik heb hem via Kickstarter en gebruik hem al enkele maanden, ideaal icm Spotify Premium.

Heb de DAC die we nu als prototype hebben al een tijd op beide hifi sets aangesloten hier thuis het geluid is perfect, Spotify en MP3 en radio streams..

De DAC is gebaseerd op de Hifiberry en nog een hele berg anderen...

Multiroom heb ik niet naar gekeken, aangezien ik daar zelf geen gebruik van maak.... Denk dat zoiets ook weer lastig wordt met Spotify, aangezien je maar zoveel apparaten tegelijk kan laten streamen...

De Gramofon is zeker ook een puik apparaatje voor het geld, althans de 49 euro nu.. Voordeel van de zelfbouw is dat er meerdere opties zijn aan software. Volumio, Rune-audio, pi-musicbox... en nog wat anderen..

Je kan beter vragen wat kan er niet mee afgespeeld kan worden.. :P

Maar webradio zit er ook in en anders kan je altijd nog een stream toevoegen die je mist.
