Ik zie de nodige discussie over de status van de Nodo. Het is hier inderdaad angstvallig stil geworden. Maar voor mij is het Nodo gebeuren nog wel volop in gebruik. Ik heb wel een punt gezet achter het gebruik van de NRF modules en ik ben ook gestopt met de Nodo webapplicatie.

Maar mijn landschap bestaat naast Domoticz, RFLink en ESP8266 ook nog steeds uit diverse Nodo unit's. Ze draaien al jaren stabiel en waarom zou ik dat veranderen dacht ik. Ik heb alleen de communicatie omgezet naar Wifi want ik wilde geen 433 of NRF meer voor de onderlinge communicatie.

Het ziet er nu globaal ongeveer zo uit:

De Nodo Mega handelt nog steeds diverse Kaku schakelingen af omdat dit ook al jaren prima werkt. Bovendien vindt ik blockly en Lua bij Domoticz ook geen feest, vooral niet als je veel ervaring hebt met de Nodo eventlist (!). De Nodo Mega werkt ook nog met 433, maar als ik die lijntjes ook nog zou tekenen, dan wordt het echt onoverzichtelijk...

Het is op zich goed mogelijk om verschillende projecten te combineren tot een totaaloplossing.

Ik heb de nodo ook nog steeds draaien en ik denk dat mn nodo in 3 jaar 1 of 2x is vastgelopen. Het is gewoon een super stabiel systeem. Ik ben wel aan het experimenteren met Domoticz en rf link maar dat is gewoon omdat de domoticz interface mooier is. Ik heb een bekabeld systeem met de io poorten van de Mega Wired in en out en blijf dit ook gewoon met de nodo afhandelen. Het Nodo script heeft gewoon naar mijn idee meer mogelijkheden dan de blocky van domoticz.

Dit is toch wel een mooi duidelijk overzicht van de mogelijkheden lijkt mij ;)

Begrijp ik nu goed dat de 433RX/Nodo Mega/Ethernet, alleen 433 kan ontvangen en evt verzenden, maar geen temp sensors of relais, maar wel direct kan communiceren met Domoticz ? Of is dat ook RFLink.

En dat nodo small (mini pro) via ESPEasy, kan communiceren met domoticz ?

Wellicht is het een idee om Nodo als centrale server te gebruiken (na de nodige aanpassingen) met daarop serieel de RFLink..
Het kost je wel een 2e Mega maar je zou dan moeten kunnen profiteren van een overvloed aan protocollen..
